Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Estate Diamond Jewelry, Inc. respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Estate Diamond Jewelry, Inc., referred to as “EDJ,” “we,” “our,” or “us,” collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information.
This policy applies to information collected through our website, showroom, telephone calls, emails, forms, appointments, video calls, text messages, WhatsApp communications, purchases, shipments, repair services, jewelry-selling inquiries, promotions, and other interactions with EDJ.
Personal Information We Collect
We may collect contact information such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and other information you provide when contacting EDJ.
When you make or consider a purchase, we may collect information about the jewelry, your order, payment method, transaction history, layaway plan, shipment, return, warranty request, repair, sizing request, appointment, or other service.
Depending on the transaction, we may collect or request identification and verification information. This may include a government-issued identification document, proof of address, payment authorization, source-of-funds information, beneficial-ownership information, or other information reasonably required for fraud prevention, security, sanctions screening, tax, customs, or legal compliance.
If you contact EDJ about selling jewelry, requesting a valuation, or obtaining a service, we may collect photographs, videos, certificates, appraisals, government-issued identification document, ownership information, descriptions, and other information about the jewelry.
We may also collect communications and content that you submit through forms, email, telephone, text message, WhatsApp, video call, social media, reviews, surveys, promotions, or other correspondence.
When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, links selected, shopping activity, approximate location, dates and times of visits, and interactions with our website and advertisements.
How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information directly from you when you browse our website, contact us, schedule an appointment, submit a form, join our mailing list, participate in a promotion, purchase or return jewelry, request service, or communicate with EDJ.
We may receive information from payment processors, shipping carriers, insurers, fraud-prevention providers, identity-verification providers, advertising and analytics services, social media platforms, jewelry laboratories, professional advisers, and other parties involved in a transaction or service.
We may also obtain information from public records or other lawful sources when reasonably necessary to verify identity, ownership, payment, authenticity, transaction details, or legal compliance.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, provide information about jewelry, process purchases and payments, administer layaway plans, arrange shipping and pickup, handle returns, provide warranty or repair services, and complete other requested transactions.
We may use personal information to verify identity, confirm payment authorization, prevent fraud, protect customers and EDJ, investigate suspicious activity, manage disputes and chargebacks, enforce our agreements, and comply with tax, customs, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, recordkeeping, reporting, and other legal obligations.
We may use website and transaction information to operate, maintain, secure, analyze, and improve our website, products, services, advertisements, and customer experience.
We may also use information to send transactional communications and, where permitted, marketing communications concerning EDJ jewelry, services, events, articles, or promotions.
Payment Information
Payments may be processed through banks, credit-card networks, payment gateways, cryptocurrency services, financing providers, or other payment providers. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Depending on the payment method, EDJ may receive or handle information needed to authorize, confirm, document, or reconcile the transaction. EDJ does not need to retain full payment-card details when they are processed and retained by an authorized payment provider.
Customers should not send complete payment-card information, identification documents, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email unless EDJ specifically instructs them to use that method or provides an approved alternative.
Identity Verification, Fraud Prevention, and Legal Compliance
Because EDJ handles valuable jewelry and high-value transactions, we may take reasonable steps to verify identity, payment authority, address, ownership, source of funds, or other transaction details.
We may use personal information to identify or prevent fraud, theft, unauthorized payments, chargebacks, money laundering, sanctions violations, identity theft, and other unlawful or suspicious activity.
EDJ may delay, reject, restrict, cancel, or report a transaction when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, risk management, or legal compliance. We may be legally restricted from disclosing certain reviews, reports, procedures, or risk criteria.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
EDJ and its service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may keep the website functioning, remember shopping-cart contents and preferences, measure website traffic, identify errors, evaluate advertising, and help show advertisements that may be more relevant to visitors.
Some cookies are necessary for website operation and security. Other cookies may support analytics, advertising, personalization, or performance measurement.
EDJ uses analytics and advertising services that may include Google Analytics, Meta, Google Ads, Pinterest, and similar providers. These providers may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, browsing activity, interactions, and conversion information. They may combine this information with data collected through other websites or services in accordance with their own privacy policies.
You may restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect shopping-cart functions, checkout, saved preferences, forms, or other website features. Cookie and advertising choices may apply only to the browser and device on which they are selected.
Advertising and the Sale or Sharing of Information
EDJ does not sell personal information to data brokers in exchange for money.
Like many online retailers, EDJ may permit analytics and advertising providers to collect identifiers and internet activity through cookies, pixels, or similar technologies. Depending on the law that applies, this activity may be defined as a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for “targeted advertising,” even when EDJ does not receive money for the information.
EDJ does not provide customer contact lists to unrelated businesses for their own independent direct-marketing campaigns.
Where applicable law provides a right to opt out of a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you may submit a request using the contact information below. You may also use available browser, advertising-platform, or cookie controls.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers that help EDJ operate its business. These may include website hosts, cloud-storage providers, form providers, payment processors, banks, shipping carriers, insurers, customer-service providers, email providers, analytics services, advertising platforms, security providers, fraud-prevention services, identity-verification services, and information-technology providers.
Information may also be provided to jewelry laboratories, appraisers, repair professionals, insurers, accountants, attorneys, auditors, or other professionals when reasonably necessary for a transaction, service, dispute, insurance matter, or legal obligation.
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, court orders, government requests, tax or customs requirements, sanctions obligations, or regulatory duties. We may also disclose information to protect EDJ, our customers, another person, property, or legal rights.
If EDJ or part of its business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale, or transfer, personal information may be disclosed to advisers and potential or actual transaction parties, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.
We may disclose information at your direction, with your permission, or when necessary to complete a service or transaction that you requested.
Customer Communications
EDJ may communicate with you by telephone, voicemail, email, social media, text message, WhatsApp, or another method that you use or authorize.
Transactional communications may concern an inquiry, appointment, order, payment, identity verification, security issue, pickup, shipment, return, layaway plan, repair, warranty request, or other customer service matter. These communications are not necessarily marketing communications.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the message or by contacting EDJ. An unsubscribe request will not prevent EDJ from sending necessary transactional, security, legal, or service-related communications.
Data Retention
EDJ retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including completing transactions, providing service, maintaining business and warranty records, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with tax, accounting, insurance, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, and other legal obligations.
Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of the transaction, legal requirements, security concerns, and whether the information is needed for an active dispute, investigation, warranty, service, or customer relationship.
Marketing information may be retained until you unsubscribe or until EDJ determines that it is no longer needed. Cookie and advertising information may be retained according to the settings and retention practices of EDJ and the applicable service provider.
Data Security
EDJ uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Access to personal information is limited based on business need, and service providers are selected and managed with consideration for the nature of the information they handle.
No website, transmission method, storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident occurs, EDJ will investigate and provide legally required notifications in the manner and within the time required by applicable law.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of certain information, or a portable copy of certain information.
You may also have the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sales, or sharing of personal information, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, withdraw consent, or appeal the denial of a privacy request.
These rights are not absolute. EDJ may retain or continue using information when permitted or required for transactions, warranties, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, recordkeeping, disputes, or other lawful purposes.
To protect customer information, EDJ may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but EDJ may require proof of authorization and identity verification.
EDJ will not unlawfully discriminate against a customer for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Submitting a Privacy Request
Privacy requests may be submitted by emailing info@estatediamondjewelry.com or calling (866) 853-9357.
Please describe the request and provide enough information for EDJ to locate the relevant records. Do not send copies of identification documents through ordinary email unless EDJ requests them and provides appropriate instructions.
EDJ will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may deny or limit a request when we cannot reasonably verify it or when an exception under applicable law applies.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a uniform industry standard for interpreting traditional Do Not Track signals, the EDJ website does not currently respond to them.
A legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, may be treated differently from a traditional Do Not Track signal. Where applicable law requires EDJ to recognize such a signal, EDJ will treat it as a request to opt out for the browser or device sending the signal.
California and Other State Privacy Disclosures
During the preceding 12 months, EDJ may have collected the categories of personal information described in this policy, including identifiers, customer-record information, commercial information, payment-related information, internet activity, approximate location information, communications, preferences, inferences, and sensitive information used for identity verification, payment security, or legal compliance.
EDJ may have disclosed these categories for business purposes to the service providers and other parties described in this policy. Identifiers and internet activity may also have been made available to analytics and advertising providers through cookies and similar technologies.
EDJ does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about customers or for purposes unrelated to providing services, securing transactions, preventing fraud, or satisfying legal obligations.
EDJ does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years old.
California residents may also request information about certain disclosures of personal information to third parties for those parties’ own direct-marketing purposes. EDJ does not disclose customer personal information to third parties for their own independent direct-marketing purposes.
EDJ does not currently offer a financial incentive or loyalty program in exchange for permission to collect, sell, or share personal information.
Residents of states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may exercise the rights provided by their state using the contact methods listed above.
Children’s Privacy
The EDJ website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13 years old. EDJ does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to EDJ, please contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.
International Visitors
EDJ is located in the United States. If you access our website or communicate with EDJ from another country, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate.
Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights. You may contact EDJ using the information below to ask about those rights.
Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may contain links to websites, social media platforms, payment services, video-call services, or other services that EDJ does not control. Those parties have their own privacy practices and policies.
EDJ is not responsible for the privacy practices of an independent third-party website or service. You should review the applicable privacy policy before providing information to that party.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
EDJ may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal obligations. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise. Your personal information will remain subject to the version of the policy and applicable law governing its use.
