Art Deco Era
A rare engagement ring that was handcrafted during the Edwardian Era, circa 1910. The center diamond is prong-set in a stunning antique mounting and adorned with diamond studded floral-motif openwork along the gallery. Diamond and milgrain run between the filigree. Deep blue French-cut sapphires sit at the top of the shoulders of the handmade platinum mounting.
A lovely presentation of engravings, filigree and diamonds accent the lower end of shank, and add a delicate, romantic quality to the ring.
The feature diamond is a beautiful Old Euro cut that weighs 2.46 carats, F color, and SI1 clarity. The diamond is certified by the GIA.
